Filigran, the Paris cybersecurity company behind the open-source threat intelligence platform OpenCTI, is holding THREAD, its first annual gathering of the cyber defence and threat intelligence community, on 15 October at Les Jardins de Saint-Dominique, in the 7th arrondissement near Les Invalides. The company announced the speaker line-up on 8 October. Attendance is free and the sessions are held in English.

Who is on stage

The morning sessions feature speakers from Accenture, Centrica, Thales Group and the FBI. In the afternoon tracks, threat intelligence and CERT practitioners from Dassault Systèmes, Hermès and Richemont share what worked in practice. Filigran says the format puts hands-on labs and community-led workshops in place of vendor pitches, and its event page promises off-the-record roundtables for CISOs, organised by industry, on topics including the European NIS2 and DORA rules.

"Defenders get ahead when they share what they see," said Samuel Hassine, Filigran's chief executive and co-founder. "THREAD brings that community into one room to compare what works in the field, and decide together what we build next." The roadmap is public and users can vote on which features come first.

Agents and a new module

In a "Build Your Own Agent" lab, attendees will use the XTM One agent wizard to turn their own workflows into AI agents, for tasks such as triaging threat reports. Filigran will also open the beta programme of OpenCRQ, a new module for quantifying cyber risk that joins OpenCTI and OpenAEV in its XTM Platform.

A fast-growing Paris scale-up

Founded in 2022, Filigran says its platforms are used by more than 6,000 organisations. In October 2025 it closed a $58 million Series C, €50 million, led by Eurazeo, which Maddyness described as the largest round ever raised in French cybersecurity. That took its total funding to nearly $100 million in three years.
