Asindown, Emuca, Verdú Artesanos and Zink Medical, together with Laura Oro, director of Marketing and Communication at Norauto, won the 2026 MIA awards, the Valencian Community's marketing awards organised by the Club de Marketing del Mediterráneo (CMM). The winners were announced on 10 June at the 15th Noche Mediterránea del Marketing, which brought together more than 320 people, according to the club's own account of the evening.
This year's motto, "Sentir el (im)pulso" (roughly, "feel the pulse"), put the focus on the people behind brands at a time dominated by technology and artificial intelligence.
The four category winners
Innovation: Zink Medical. The award went to Doria, an AI-powered ophthalmological diagnosis system that runs more than 100 non-invasive tests in 10 minutes and shifts the focus to prevention. It is already in use in five Spanish regions and has cut in-person consultations by 42%. The launch was supported by BeRebel and David Blay.
Social marketing: Asindown. Its "Asesores de la simplicidad" (simplicity advisors) project flips the usual roles: people usually seen as recipients of help become experts who review real products and services to make brands more accessible. After the campaign, developed with Rosebud, the organisation grew its economic activity by 15% and its staff by 22%.
B2B marketing: Emuca. Its "Oasis Digital" omnichannel ecosystem, built with Intershop, combines website, app, a 24/7 private purchasing area and an experience centre for trade customers. More than 75% of its sales now go through digital and automated channels, the omnichannel model has grown 21% and international sales are up 65%.
B2C marketing: Verdú Artesanos. With the agency Sapristi, the brand went from a seasonal ice cream shop in Dénia to an artisan brand with national reach: a new identity, a new value proposition, an ecommerce launch and its pastry tradition turned into a way to sell all year round. December sales now beat August, customer acquisition is up 27% and the company is growing 18% year on year.
Audience favourite and marketer of the year
The more than 320 guests voted live for the best MIA award of the year among the four category winners, and chose Verdú Artesanos, the most awarded brand of the night.
The professional of the year award went to Laura Oro, recognised for turning Norauto towards a customer-centred strategy, modernising internal communication with technology, running multichannel campaigns with a strong emotional charge that move the brand away from functional selling, and unifying the brand experience.
The CMM board also gave a Special MIA Recognition to young talent put forward by the region's business schools: Carmen Calero (EDEM), Eduarda Prado (ESIC) and Adrián Ramírez (IEM Digital Business School).
"Technology helps us move forward, but brands do not move forward on their own. They move forward thanks to the people who set the pace of decisions, understand the market, spot opportunities and turn ideas into movement," said Eva Prieto, president of the CMM (translated from Spanish).
